If you’ve ever tried to Rip MP3s from Pandora you might have wondered if there was a better way; There is. Whether you are using a PC or Mac, the solution is here. I’ve provided download links and info about different software you can choose from. I will briefly cover Pandora’s Saver, Pandora’s Jar, PandoraJam, StreamRipperX, iTube Grabber and Orbit Downloader. There are others, but these are what I would suggest using. Most of them can rip streaming audio/video from other sources as well, such as YouTube, Myspace, Deezer, Last.fm and have features such as scrobbling and more.

Ronald Jenkees has released his 2nd CD titled Disorganized Fun. Many of you may already know of Ronald, he became known from his entertaining YouTube videos with a unique and humorous presentation. He is a very talented keyboard player as well as producer. He has been able to co-lab with some big names as a result of his success and growing number of fans. He uses FL Studio and a variety of keyboards to make his tracks. Also notable he credits Warbeats for their tutorials on how to use FL Studio.

This is a decent tutorial on how to make an acapella with Adobe Audition using the classic inversion method. This method can also be used with Audacity. Using this method you can also create instrumentals.
Using Adobe Audition, you can also use Center Chanel Extraction to make an acapella or instrumental.
The quality from using the inversion method can be quit high. Using Center Chanel Extraction the results will be obvious DIY (Do it yourself) quality, but none the less it works if you are new to making acapellas or instrumentals.
The best methods I’ve come across to make ’studio quality acapellas’ I learned from DJ Earworm’s book “Audio Mashup Construction Kit”. The absolute best method of producing a studio quality acapella is to use the ‘time shifting method’. There are many tutorials on the net similar to the one above about making an acapella with center chanel extraction or the inversion method, but I haven’t ever seen any about time shifting or other methods out there. For more information about these methods, keep checking back to my site, or subscribe.. I will be creating a tutorial on the methods in the future.

Audacity is free software provided by SourceForge that will allow you to create acapellas, make instrumentals, record and mix various audio tracks. Although this software lacks the robust features of Adobe Audition, it works on a Mac and it’s free.
You may also be interested in Gold Wave Editor, if you are consider various Wave Editors/Audio Mixing Software.
This application is by far the best Wave Editor for the PC in existence.
With this software you can mix and record multiple tracks simultaneously, create edits, mastering, zoom in on a track to the nano level, add effects, extract vocals or instrumentals and more.
If you are a musician or producer this is a must have tool to incorporate into your collection.
You can remove background noise from audio, filter out different sounds and create high quality acapellas and instrumentals. If you use a Mac, without a PC emulator, you won’t be able to use this software.
Audacity is a freeware program that you can use, but it lacks the robust features that come with Adobe Audition.

The song Transgenisis by Indidginus happened to catch my attention while cruising the net today. The music features a full cultural sound, with modern styling. It reminded of Deep Forest. Other songs by them have ambient and trance qualities.

If you make beats or want to, Warbeats.com is the place to go. You can learn advanced production skills from a variety of talented producers. The information they provide is superior to that of other sites I have come across. There are thousands of video tutorials, forums, VSTs for download, many, many resources available for you to learn from at your fingertips. Seriously you won’t find a better site to teach you how to produce beats, especially with FL Studio. There are tutorials and resources available for Reason, Ableton Live and others as well, but honestly I couldn’t recommend a better site to visit if you want to be a producer. Unless you spend thousands of dollars and go to Berklee Music or Expressions, you really couldn’t buy such a comprehensive collection of resources and tutorials. Go to Warbeats, start learning advanced skills, for free.
Here is a video I just grabbed off their homepage. It shows the guys who made the beat from Drop The World, which recently hit the charts with Lil Wayne & Eminem. They made the beat with FL Studio.
If you’re not serious about making beats, don’t go to Warbeats.com.
